Registration
An annual registration fee of $30 ($55 per family) is due at registration for all dance classes. Registration fee is non-refundable. Enrollment is not considered complete until the registration fee and the first tuition installment has been paid by September 7th.
Tuition
*Please note Tuition is added up for the whole season and divided into four quarters, regardless of how many weeks per month. There are four total payments for the year. Holidays, school vacations, and Recital preparation time/rehearsals are all taken into account. 2nd child will receive a 5% discount-one sibling, lesser hours. We accept cash, checks, Visa, Discover, and MasterCard. Costume Fees are due with Qtr 2 November 7th. Digital DVD Fee is included in 3rd Qtr Tuition and required for every family in the Recital.

Tuition Details
If your account is 5 days past due, there will be a $10 late fee added to your account. After 12 days past due, an additional $10 late fee will be added. If your account is 21 days past due, your child will not be able to participate in class until paid.
Late Payments
Any late registrations/start dates will not be pro-rated. Withdrawal from any class at East Coast Dance Center must be in writing and emailed to director within a minimum of 7 days prior to next billing cycle. There will be no refunds for remaining weeks. All tuition is non-refundable. After January 1st, any drop outs or withdrawals will incur a $100 fee per student, more than 3 classes fee is $200. No exception.
If there is a mandatory government shut down or closure because of covid or similar all classes will switch to virtual and tuition charges and policies will remain in effect.
*Tuition charges will be posted to your online account and emailed for each quarter by the 1st of the month. A debit/credit card on file is required with ECDC, you opt in to automatically be charged each quarter on the due date. Checks and Cash are accepted prior to due dates. You are responsible for checking your emails.

Costumes
Recital Costumes are priced per student/per class: $88 for Creative Movement & Kindermoves levels, $93 for all ages 7-18, and $110 for XL-Adult sizes. Level A, B, C, D combo classes age 7 & up require 3 costumes for 3 recital routines that have 3 genres. For example: Ballet/Tap/Jazz classes have 3 routines. Full costume payments are due November 7th. Alterations are the responsibility of the parent, should something need to be adjusted. *Size exchanges are subject to an additional $35-40 shipping/handling fee if the costume does not fit and if available. Failure to pay costume fees will result in delayed ordering of your child's costume and $35 shipping and handling late fee will be charged to your account. If your account balance is not paid up to date with tuition or any other associated dance fees, your child will not be allowed to take home costumes.
Costume fees are non-refundable, no exceptions. Expected Recital date 5/10/25 but please see calendar and policies page.
